The JNV Chikkamagaluru alumni community has always believed in the importance of supporting students in their educational journey. However, the community also realised that support should not be limited to education alone. While academic assistance remains an important priority, it is equally essential to recognise, encourage, and nurture young sporting talent. Sports teach discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience, opening doors to opportunities that can transform young lives.

With this understanding, the alumni community came forward to support a promising alumna who had represented the school at the national level without professional coaching and later went on to win a Karnataka State Doubles Championship title. Recognising her talent, dedication, and determination, the alumni helped cover her academy fees, ensuring that financial constraints would not interrupt her training or stand in the way of her sporting aspirations.

This initiative reflects a broader understanding of the role of an alumni community—not merely to support education, but also to identify potential, encourage determination, and provide timely assistance to deserving young achievers in different fields.
